Buxton Brewery + The World Bee Project May 2025 – May 2026

Brewed with Honey. Powered by Purpose.

In 2025, TheWorld Bee Project CIC was thrilled to partner with Buxton Brewery to launch PLAN BEE – a honey-infused pale ale
that’s more than a beverage – it’s a bold statement for bees and biodiversity
that donates to The World Bee Project.

Join us in drinking to a greener planet!

Derbyshire-based Buxton Brewery launched a honey-infused pale ale to raise money for The World Bee Project in celebration of World Bee Day 2025.

The delicious PLAN BEE beer was available to buy from the Buxton Brewery shop from World Bee Day 2025 to World Bee Day 2026.  A portion of each can of PLAN BEE sold is being donated to help protect over 400,000 wild honeybees, plant 500 fruit tree saplings to regenerate local biodiversity, offer full program support for 18 months to a smallholder farming family in India, and provide 500 hours of in-person training in beekeeping and regenerative farming.

Buxton Brewery Managing Director Dom Metcalfe said “We are delighted to be working in partnership with The World Bee Project on this collaboration beer. It is imperative that we use our combined reach to help educate and inform people that bees underpin our entire ecosystem and without them and their pollinating properties we wouldn’t be able to grow produce to feed ourselves or even make beer!”
